In the new digitally altered video, Kajol’s face is projected onto a woman who is seen changing clothes on camera. However, fact-checking platforms like Boom Live revealed that the video actually originated from an English social media influencer’s TikTok post as part of the “Get Ready With Me” trend.
Notably, Katrina Kaif also became a victim of digital manipulation. An altered image from her upcoming film “Tiger 3” has surfaced online, depicting a stark contrast to the original scene where she fights a stuntwoman wearing a towel. The manipulated version featured her in a low-cut top and matching bottoms.
In a state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently highlighted the seriousness of deepfakes and called it one of the biggest threats facing India at this time. Emphasizing the potential chaos in society, he urged the media to play an important role in educating people about the dangers posed by deepfake technology.
