- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience using data science libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn).
- Knowledge of image processing techniques, computer vision algorithms, and OCR methods.
- Familiarity with NLP concepts and tools for text extraction and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities For the Data Science Intern Job Opening at Bizongo:
- Develop and implement algorithms for image processing and analysis, with a focus on artwork images.
- Design and build models for text and table extraction from images, including OCR (Optical Character Recognition) techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into existing workflows and applications.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in image processing, computer vision, and natural language processing (NLP) technologies.
