Cinespia has set its Hollywood Forever schedule for July.

The organization behind the outdoor cemetery screenings has set Rocky, Charlie’s Angels, Shrek 2, Midsommar, Empire Records and La Bamba for its July lineup, which will feature three nights of fireworks tied to the Independence Day holiday.

“As we gear up for another exciting month of cinematic magic under the stars, we’re thrilled to bring back the beloved tradition of celebrating Independence Day with a bang — quite literally,” said Cinespia founder John Wyatt. “This July, Cinespia is proud to present an electrifying lineup that promises something for everyone, from the timeless classics like Rocky to the beloved favorites such as Charlie’s Angels and Shrek 2.”

Here’s the July schedule: Rocky (July 4), Charlie’s Angels (2000) (July 5) and Shrek 2 (July 6) — all of which will feature fireworks after the screening — will be followed by Midsommar (July 13), Empire Records (July 20) and La Bamba (July 27).

June’s events include the previously announced screenings of Legally Blonde, Dazed and Confused, Across the Universe, DEBS and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

Screenings feature pre-show DJ sets and themed events and photo booths.

Cinespia’s Hollywood Forever cemetery screenings started in 2002 with Alfred Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train and has grown into a popular summer event for Angelenos, with thousands drawn to the Santa Monica Boulevard venue for assorted events that, in the past, has included screenings of pics like Jaws and Goonies, among scores of others. Others have held FYC events or premiere events at the venue.

Tickets to all screenings are available on the Cinespia website.
