CFC opens first office in Canada to be led by Marsh’s Kate Della Mora

Kate Della Mora to head CFC Canada as CEO, a new role that was created as the company launched its first office on the ground in the country’s capital, Toronto.

CFC has launched its first office in Canada with the ambition of building a team of business development professionals to provide Canadian brokers across the country with direct access to support, complementing CFC’s existing Canada-facing underwriting teams based in the UK.

Louise O’Shea, Group CEO, CFC, said: “This hire marks another exciting step for CFC as we expand our global footprint and aim to be closer to our broker partners. Kate is an exceptional business leader with a passion for business development and outstanding communication skills, which have enabled her to establish a strong network of industry relationships.

“These skills will prove invaluable as she focuses on growing our Canadian business by increasing the breadth and depth of our broker relationships, building on the existing strength of our client base throughout the country. I’m delighted to welcome her to our growing global team.”

Della Mora is joining CFC from Marsh Canada, where she held the role of National Specialty Growth Leader for over four years.

The executive also brings extensive experience of cyber and professional liability gathered from her years at Allianz, Liberty International, Berkley and Travelers.
