Arch Insurance International welcomes new Head for Third-Party Claims

Laura Brahams ascends to Head of Third-Party Claims at Arch Insurance International following Barbara Rizzi’s elevation to Chief Claims Officer.

Taking on her new position, Brahams will oversee various sectors including casualty, cyber, financial lines, healthcare, intangible assets, and professional liability. Operating from London, she will report directly to Rizzi, Chief Claims Officer at Arch.

Brahams’ appointment comes on the heels of Rizzi’s recent advancement to Chief Claims Officer.

With over 18 years of insurance experience, Brahams, who joined Arch in 2015 and served as the Financial Lines Claims Manager, brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Before joining Arch, she held positions at several law firms, including Kennedys Law LLP, and is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.

Brahams currently serves as the Chair of the Professional Lines Claims Committee at the International Underwriting Association. Additionally, she holds the role of Co-Chair of the Arch Insurance International Culture Committee, dedicated to fostering a positive workplace environment across the organisation.
