CRC Group, the North American wholesale specialty insurance distributor, has bolstered its team with a series of key hires.
Firstly, the company has announced that Sarah McKenna has joined CRC Group’s San Francisco, CA office as a property broker. She brings more than eight years of industry experience towards the role.
Prior to joining CRC Group, she served as a business development manager with a global specialty insurer.
Next up, Joseph Carothers joins CRC’s Tampa-Bayport, FL office as a senior team leader.
Prior to joining the organisation, he spent eight years working as an underwriter with another large wholesale brokerage company.
And lastly, Craig Brown also joins CRC’s Tampa-Bayport, FL office as a team leader, bringing more than 20 years of industry expertise encompassing claims handling and product management.
CRC Group noted that these new appointments mark a strategic expansion effort aimed at enhancing the company’s ability to assist retail agency clients nationwide.
Earlier this year, CRC Group also appointed two new underwriting team leaders, Lance Lee and Andrew Weinberg.
Furthermore, in April, INSUREtrust, formerly housed in Starwind, integrated into the Wholesale Brokerage Division of CRC Group, to form a cyber practice group.
Earlier this month, the newly formed CRC / INSUREtrust Cyber Practice Group entered into a new exclusive wholesale partnership with Darkweb IQ to help clients prevent ransomware attacks by leveraging exclusive visibility into the criminal ecosystem.
