Activities

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park offers a memorable glimpse into the wild American West. You’ll find more than 200 miles of hiking trails, complete with dozens of opportunities to swim and fish.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park is one of the best-known and most-visited national parks in the world. Explore some of the 2.2 million acres that makes up the park as well as the imposing Yellowstone Caldera.

Horseback Riding

Few places offer a better view of Jackson Hole than atop the back of a horse. Select locations offer guided horseback tours so you can experience the natural world in a whole new way. Be sure to make reservations for horseback riding early, as this activity can fill up quickly.

Snake River Scenic and Whitewater Rafting

The Snake River is the largest tributary along the Columbia River, and one of the biggest destinations for whitewater rafters. Alternatively, explore more than eight miles of babbling mountain waters on a gentle, scenic float that delights children and adults alike.

Biking

Jackson Hole offers multiple opportunities for both mountain and road biking. Cruisers and e-bikes are available for hotel guests.

Hiking

There are more than 390 miles of hiking trails in Jackson Hole. Summer offers spectacular hiking through alpine wildflowers and a chance of seeing wildlife. We would be happy to connect you to a local naturalist if you would like a guided hike, or to point you to our favorite trails

Wildlife Tours

Summer is a busy time for viewing local wildlife, whether you take a wildlife tour or spend the day in a national park. With the largest concentration of wildlife in the lower 48 states, you have a chance of seeing:

  • Pronghorns

Observatory

The brand-new Snow King Observatory and Planetarium is America’s only observatory atop a ski area. Expect interactive displays, 360-degree theater experiences, and breathtaking views of a quiet night sky.
